My mission? To help you embrace a healthy, sustainable lifestyle through herbal remedies, nutrition, and education. My vision? A world where natural health and wellness are woven into the fabric of everyday life, where quality of life is improved through holistic, sustainable care, and where the wisdom of herbal medicine is valued and accessible to all.

From the fast-paced world of corporate IT to the tranquil landscapes of the Sonoran Desert, my journey has been anything but ordinary! As a US Army veteran with over 30 years in Information Technology, I was fully immersed in the corporate world. However, after facing personal health challenges and embarking on my own healing journey, I found myself at a crossroads. I chose to leave corporate America behind to pursue my passion for helping others discover a more natural path to healing.

Now, as a Clinical Herbalist, Wellness Coach, and Herbal Educator, I’m dedicated to guiding others through the complexities of modern health challenges using natural solutions instead of pharmaceuticals. I believe that herbs, nutrition, and lifestyle changes aren't quick fixes—they're part of a journey, and I'm here to walk that path with you.

I studied under JoAnn Sanchez, RH, through the Western Herbalism program at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and also completed the 100-hour Life Coaching and Reiki programs. My education didn't stop there—I’ve continued to expand my knowledge through mentorships with leaders in the herbalism field, ongoing continuing education, and online studies. I love teaching about natural remedies and holistic living, making herbal medicine at home, and leading plant walks in the Sonoran Desert.

To share my knowledge and passion, I created Desert Moon Botanicals—an online education platform, community, and destination for those interested in the craft of herbalism. It’s a place to learn, explore, and find the resources needed to deepen your understanding of herbal medicine. I also take great joy in creating small-batch, handcrafted herbal goods, which are available in our online apothecary and shop. You can also find Desert Moon Botanicals products at local herb stores and markets throughout Arizona.

When I’m not teaching or crafting herbal remedies, you’ll find me exploring Arizona's natural beauty, wildcrafting in the Sonoran Desert or northern regions, traveling the world, or camping with my partner, Paul, and our friends. My love for local botanicals fuels my passion for teaching about the incredible medicinal plants native to the Sonoran Desert.
